Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Setvion Technologies (“Setvion”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use SetStudio, our content studio and social publishing service, and the SetStudio pages on setviontechnologies.com.

1. Who we are

Setvion Technologies is a partnership firm registered in India, with its principal place of business at 3/742-B, Annai Therasa Street, Dinamani Nagar, Anaiyur, S. Alankulam, Shanthi Nagar, Madurai, Tamil Nadu 625018, India. You can reach us at admin@setviontechnologies.com.

We decide how your account information is used. For the content and social account data that you or your organisation bring into a SetStudio workspace, we process it to provide SetStudio on your organisation’s behalf.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email address, organisation name and sign-in details.
• Workspace details: the workspaces you create or join, and their members and roles, such as owner, editor, approver or client.
• Content: the projects, videos, images, audio, captions, comments, schedules and brand assets you create or upload.
• Billing details for paid plans. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider; we don’t store them.
• Messages you send us, such as support requests.

Information from social accounts you connect

You connect an account on the platform’s own sign-in page and choose which permissions to give SetStudio. We never see your password for that platform. Depending on the features you use, we receive:

• Facebook and Instagram (Meta): your name and ID; the Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts you manage; their posts, comments, insights and the messages sent to them; and, if you use our ads features, your ad accounts, campaigns, ad results and the leads from your lead forms.
• Threads (Meta): your Threads profile, the posts you publish through SetStudio, and their replies and insights.
• WhatsApp (Meta): your WhatsApp Business account, its phone numbers and message templates, and the messages you send and receive through SetStudio.
• YouTube (Google): your channel name and ID, and the videos, playlists, thumbnails, processing status and statistics of the videos you publish through SetStudio.
• LinkedIn: your name, profile photo and headline; the LinkedIn Pages you administer; and the posts you publish through SetStudio, with their comments and statistics.
• The access tokens that let SetStudio act within the permissions you gave. We store them encrypted.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and logs of errors and actions, which we use to run and secure SetStudio.
• Cookies and browser storage that keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t let third parties serve ads in SetStudio.

3. How we use information

• To provide SetStudio: create and edit content, schedule and publish posts, show analytics, and let you reply to comments and messages.
• To run workspaces: share drafts with your team and clients, and record approvals.
• To support you, keep SetStudio secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To bill paid plans and meet our legal obligations.

We use social platform data only to provide the features you use. We don’t sell personal information, we don’t use platform data for advertising or to build profiles, and we don’t use your content or platform data to train AI models. If you use AI features, the text and media you choose to send are processed by the AI model provider set up for your workspace, only to produce the result you asked for.

4. YouTube and Google

SetStudio uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

SetStudio’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke SetStudio’s access to your Google account at any time on the Google security settings page. We refresh or delete stored YouTube data, other than reporting metrics, at least every 30 days. If you disconnect YouTube in SetStudio or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 7 days; if you revoke access through Google, we delete it within 30 days.

5. Meta and LinkedIn

We handle data from Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp and Messenger under the Meta Platform Terms, and data from LinkedIn under the LinkedIn API Terms. Each platform’s own handling of your data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy and the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.

6. How we share information

• With the platforms you connect, when you publish, schedule, reply or request data through SetStudio.
• With members of your workspace, such as your agency or your client, according to their roles.
• With service providers who run parts of SetStudio for us: cloud hosting and storage (Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services), email delivery, payments and error monitoring. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
• When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or Setvion.
• If Setvion is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.

7. Security and storage

We encrypt information in transit and at rest, encrypt platform access tokens, keep each workspace’s data separate, and limit staff access to what support requires. Our providers may store and process information outside your country, including outside India; where they do, we use contractual safeguards.

8. How long we keep information

• Account and workspace information: while your account is active.
• Content: until you delete it or close your account.
• Social platform data and tokens: until you disconnect the account, and never longer than each platform allows.
• Backups: erased within 30 days.
• Billing records: as long as Indian tax law requires.

9. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, withdraw consent by disconnecting an account, or nominate someone to exercise your rights, as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 provides. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under the GDPR, including data portability, restriction and objection, and the right to complain to your data protection authority.

To use these rights, email admin@setviontechnologies.com; we reply within 30 days. To delete your data, see Data deletion.

10. Children

SetStudio is a business service for people aged 18 or over. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

11. Grievance Officer

You can raise a complaint about how we handle your information with our Grievance Officer at Setvion Technologies, 3/742-B, Annai Therasa Street, Dinamani Nagar, Anaiyur, S. Alankulam, Shanthi Nagar, Madurai, Tamil Nadu 625018, India, or by email to admin@setviontechnologies.com. We respond within one month.

12. Changes to this policy

We post any changes on this page with a new date, and tell you in SetStudio or by email before significant changes take effect.
